How long will it take to complete the course?
How long is a piece of string? We all learn at different rates and have different home and work commitments, so it really does depend on you, as to how long the course will take - you can take as much or as little time as is necessary for your own needs.
Think about how long have you been studying the tarot already? A year? Two? Five? Longer? Do you know as much as you would like to know? Considering the time you have already been studying the tarot and how much you know already, you have to consider whether you are willing to put in the work to become a competent reader. I happen to believe that the study of the tarot is never ending and is a life long love.
What if I cannot do the course for months at a time?
That's fine - the course will always be here when you are ready to come back. People take holidays, become sick, move home, lose their internet connection, get sent away for their work etc. If this happens to you, don't worry - it would be nice if you let me know though so that I don't worry about you when you go missing for months.
I really am like a mother hen with my students and when they go missing (as does one of my students on a regular basis, hopping and skipping all over the world on her travels) I worry when I don't know that they are ok.
You can take as long as you wish to do your course. We have one student who joined the course when it first went online in 2003 but due to pressures of work and family is still studying eight years later (now 2011).
However, if you do not sign into your course for two years the automated system presumes that you are no longer on the course and your account will automatically be deleted. If you wish to return to the course you will have to register and pay again. To prevent this happening, ensure that you sign in regularly (At least once every six months if you are too busy to study).
